Happy Birthday Eli!

Eli turned 2 on January 21st. Eli took cup cakes to his class to start the celbration. They were all very excited about the cupcakes.


On Friday we had pancakes and Eli got a special one. We took Eli and Owen to Sports bounce (an indoor moon bounce place) - which they loved.







We then had hamburgers for lunch with Mimi, Papa, Grandma and Grandpa. We had cake with dinner later and we also celebrated Papa's birthday.




On Saturday we had Grandma and Grandpa over as well as cousins Andy and Rochelle. We had lasagna and Ice Cream cake. Eli was spoiled by all.

Welcome to the Family!

I am very behind on our blog so I am going to restart since we are back on our feet with our newest blessing, Aaron David on January 10th, 2011. He was 9 lbs 3 oz and 22.5 inches long.

My first car ride - I hated my first moments in the car seat but finally fell asleep on the way home.

Owen and Eli have been great with Aaron they always want to talk to him and "play" with him. Sometimes the "play" wakes him up with doesn't make me too happy. They both are constantly wanting to give him kisses and hugs. Owen the other day picked up and carried Aaron - I tried not to flip out because he was just wanting to show Aaron the trash truck outside.

Want some whine with that cheese..

When they say paybacks occur with your kids, they are right. I remember my mom getting so annoyed with my whining. I didn't think I did but of course I probably did my fair share of whining. When my children (well just Owen right now) whine it is like nails on a chaulk board. It makes me crazy. Owen is at that age where he does whine a lot and on Sunday he was being extremely bad and I had enough of it. I turned to him and had the following conversation:

Me: Owen you need to please stop whining!
Owen: I know, but I am 4 and I can whine!

Needless to say he got me with that one. Andy and I were laughing so hard from that and what do you say to that. It was a good chuckle that is for sure.
