Day at the Firehouse

Our firehouse here in Ashburn has family appreciation days twice a year.  At the appreciation days they have various activities around safety, rides on the firetruck and moon bounces.  The boys had a great time, especially the firetruck ride.  They sat up in the front and they got to wear headsets and they got to talk to each other and hear what the firemen were saying.  It was a good day!

Excited about being at the Firehouse

Off the bus, they talked about Bus Safety

Giving the Karate Instructor a high five as part of the Stranger Danger Session

Visit from the Tooth Fairy!

Owen has lost his first tooth.  I was slightly anticipating this since when we were at the Dentist back in March they mentioned his bottom teeth were some what loose.  It is a little early but he got his baby teeth early as well. Even though the tooth was swallowed, the Tooth Fairy came.

Funday with Mommy!

On my last day on maternity leave I took the boys to a Cars 2 promotion event down in DC.  We dropped Andy off at work and then went on into the city.  When we pulled up to the Spy Museum they already had the cars on the street, needless to say the boys were super excited.  Eli kept saying "Lighting McQueen and Mater".  Owen was excited there was a Mack there that had transporting Lighting McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissel. After the event we went to a really awesome park, called Clemyjontri Park it is a great park but I did tend to loose track of a boy or two due to the size of the park!

Mack

They had the trailers on an endless loop.  Owen couldn't stop watching them.

Owen playing detective, they were given decoders and you had to find the task - it was a little old for them.

Matching game, Owen was really good at this.

Too much action.

Us in front of Finn McMissle, Eli was more interested in the car.

At the Park..

They loved this and spent a good chunk of time racing the cars around the track.

Happy 4 months Aaron!

Aaron is 4 months already, he started going to "school" with his brothers.  I can't believe how time flies. He has his 4 month checkup and shots last Friday and he is a moose.  He is 27.5 inches long and 18 lbs 15 oz.  I am not sure what is in the milk that I produce but it sure churns out healthy chunky monkeys!

Of course Owen and Eli had to get in a picture with him..Aaron has his "Oh what is going to happen to me" look on his face!
